align=\"justify\">This publication examines the legislative frameworks addressing gender-based violence\nagainst women in the English-speaking Caribbean States Parties to the Bel\u00e9m do Par\u00e1\nConvention, with particular attention to domestic violence, sexual violence, and killings of\nwomen, including femicide. Prepared by the Committee of Experts, the study analyzes the\nprevalence of violence against women in the region and reviews the extent to which\nnational laws align with the standards established by the Bel\u00e9m do Par\u00e1 Convention and\nother international human rights instruments.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The report highlights persistent structural challenges, including gaps in legislation, limited enforcement mechanisms, underreporting of violence, and the absence of specific\nfemicide legislation in most Caribbean States.
