align=\"justify\">This report presents the findings and recommendations resulting from the technical\nassistance visit carried out by the Committee of Experts of the MESECVI to Colombia from\n9 to 13 February 2026. The mission aimed to assess the human rights situation of women\nand girls in the Catatumbo subregion amid the escalation of armed violence and the\nongoing humanitarian crisis.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Based on testimonies gathered from women, civil society organizations, public authorities,\nand institutions, and international organizations, the report documents structural and\ndifferentiated patterns of gender-based violence, including sexual violence, trafficking,\nrecruitment of women and girls, digital violence, and attacks against women leaders and\nhuman rights defenders.
