Migrant women and girls are disproportionately victims of violence and sexual exploitation throughout their migration journey. One of the highest-risk points along this route is the Dari\u00e9n Gap, between Colombia and Panama.<\/span><\/p>

To address this issue, this guide provides guidelines for developing an interagency, intersectional, and multidisciplinary protocol for the protection of migrant, displaced, and refugee women who are victims and survivors of sexual violence.<\/span><\/p>

This study is part of the project \u201cContributing to the Prevention of Sexual Violence Against Migrant Women and Girls in Countries of the Americas,\u201d jointly executed by MESECVI, the Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM), and the Department of Public Security (DPS) of the OAS, and funded by the UK government.<\/span><\/p>
